Nicola studied floristry at Houghall College on a full time basis for three years where she successfully gained a City & Guilds in Advanced Floristry as well as being awarded the title of Floristry Student of the Year.
Some of Nicola's other achievements include;
Being awarded the Howick Hall Gardens award for Floristry.
Winning the Passion Flower Trophy as well as achieving both a 1st and 2nd place at the Harrogate Spring Flower Show, which is considered by many to be the Chelsea of the North.
Nicola also achieved a place in the finals of the 2008 Oasis Academy Competition. Oasis is a world leader in floristry related products and hold this prestigious and demanding event whose entrants are drawn from the top florists in the country. As a result of this, Nicola was asked to submit designs and advised Oasis on its up and coming range of products.
Alexandria Palace in London played host to Asian Brides magazine's Wedding Extravaganza and Nicola was asked to attend as part of a small team to assist with the floral design work.
